After the successful unveiling of the Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL at the recently held CES 2013, a new rumor surfaced suggesting that Sony is all set to announce a new Xperia smartphone at the Mobile World congress 2013 next week at Barcelona, Spain. According to various report, Sony is preparing the new Xperia SP smartphone for the next week media event. Check out more details after the break.

According to XperiaBlog says the Xperia SP (also known as C530X and “HuaShan”) will sports a 4.6” inch display at 720p. The device is said to be brained with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor that clocked at 1.7GHz with 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD. There’s also an 8 megapixels rear facing snapper and the device is said to be packed on aluminum body with a plastic back that could weigh at around 155 grams.

IT is interesting to see that the Japanese innovator is still working on a 4 incher smartphone despite the fact that most manufacturer has started in creating a 5 inch device.
